RE: BBC Sports Personality of the Year - GMach1 - 17-12-2018 19:55 Netball girls deserved their awards but they get an extra one for some of them showing off some very nice legs! I'd liked to have seen Dina in the top three and I had Hamilton down to win but obviously there are a lot of cyclists around who voted for Geraint-he looked non-plussed last night and yes I didn't understand why they had to have music at the end-it used to finish on the SPOTY theme tune. I agree that bloody tune should be buried in a deep hole, it's not coming home, if it had then fair enough, but until it does come home stop playing that damn tune-as if Baddiel and Skinner and Broudie need the money! RE: BBC Sports Personality of the Year - mikedafc - 19-12-2018 17:10 Given the way they looked back at the World Cup you would have thought England had won the tournament. Glad English Netball Team won as was sure they would go for the obvious English Football Team. Sad Dinah didn't get top 3, thought she deserved it RE: BBC Sports Personality of the Year - Charlemagne - 19-12-2018 17:46 (17-12-2018 10:53 )kelly1066 Wrote: didn't help he did it while some nobody held aloft the spoty trophy... what he do again, ride a bike up a mountain in france or summat? He won it for being Welsh RE: BBC Sports Personality of the Year - circles_o_o_o - 19-12-2018 18:38 The people of Stevenage are reported to be up in arms over Lewis Hamilton saying that he escaped from the slums. His neighbours say it is a lovely place since he left. RE: BBC Sports Personality of the Year - Doddle - 19-12-2018 21:25 Has he confused Harlow with Harlem? RE: BBC Sports Personality of the Year - GMach1 - 20-07-2019 21:20 A bit early to say at the moment but so far the Team of the Year may well come down to Manchester City(domestic treble), Liverpool(6 times winners of the Champions League trophy), England Men's Cricket ODI squad(winners of the World Cup) and England Women's Football squad(SheBelieves Cup) RE: BBC Sports Personality of the Year - Rammyrascal - 25-08-2019 20:05 Has to be Ben Stokes now RE: BBC Sports Personality of the Year - lovebabes56 - 25-08-2019 20:25 ^I'll second your vote Rammy RE: BBC Sports Personality of the Year - GMach1 - 26-08-2019 02:07 He'll be in there alright along with I reckon with Lewis Hamilton on course for a fifth world title in Formula One. RE: BBC Sports Personality of the Year - lovebabes56 - 05-09-2019 18:56 It would be nice to see Jo Konta get some kind of recognition too I think I know the England Cricket Team were nailed on favourites for the team of the year award for their World Cup win this summer but they could get strong opposition from the New Zealand Rugby team if they were to win the Rugby World Cup starting soon. Many pundits have predicted NZ to struggle this time but I think they are likely to be a team which will build momentum slowly |
