Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Ric Flair(WWE RAW,03/06/02)

A pretty entertaining match with an interesting stipulation,Stone Cold would be disqualified if he threw a punch and if he lost the match in any circumstances he would have to be Flair's personal assistant.
After a ridiculous claim on commentary from Jim Ross, under instruction from Vince MacMahon that the two had never faced on tv (completely disregarding the history of WCW)Austin and Flair traded some nice holds and scientific moves before it degenerated into a chop fest(chops were legal).A jacked Texas crowd helped things along until Stone Cold hit the stunner, distracted by Chris Benoit, the ref wasn't there to count Flair's shoulders down.More interference from Eddie Guerrero spoilt proceedings slightly as Flair took over. After about 5 minutes of Flair being in control,Austin hit the stunner out of the blue for the win.

WWE World Championship Triple Threat Match
AJ Styles( c )vs John Cena vs Dean Ambrose(WWE No Mercy,09/10/16)

A really well put together triple threat match with a high work rate from all involved.Helped along by a heated crowd the inteplay between the combatants backed up the nicely built up story line.Again, kudos to John Cena for his efforts in building AJ Styles into a legitimate star.Same goes for Dean Ambrose too.

Goldberg vs lesnar- wrestlemania 20

As everyone already knows the match stank, I only liked the build up package they put together. if I was vince, I wouldn't have given them the time of day in regards to a place at mania.

^ it was Vince's fault that the match was lame.He wouldn't let them do the match they wanted because Goldberg and Lesnar were both leaving. He did it spite them as if to say "How dare you leave my company?."
Also Shane MacMahon from the safety of the sky box began the boring chants under orders from his dad.

Triple h v kane- No Mercy 2002

Was the culmination of a pathetic storyline, match was shite in my opinion and to do away with the IC belt was even more puzzling. Yes it came back in 03 but the 7 month absence could have been used to build up some guys vying for the belt

Angle/Benoit vs Edge/Mysterio- No mercy 2002

Really enjoyed this match, quite a fast pace tempo between some great wrestlers. I just wish benoit/angle had a longer run as tag champs, was quite fun also watching them argue in the build up

^ good choice.
They engaged in some of the most exciting matches of that entire year.

WWF I.C Championship Match
Roddy Piper( c ) vs Bret Hart(WWF WM8,05/04/92)

A shining example of how to tell a story. It had the lot, brawling, technical wrestling, colour and drama. After the two traded holds and jockeyed for position, Piper caught Hart with a hard punch that gave the Hitman a perfect chance to do an effective blade job.Piper's heel like offence and mannerisms garnered sympathy for Hart's come back and and signature series of moves before a ref bump gave Hot Rod a chance to play really dirty. He seized the ring bell and was about to finish the Hitman with it until the crowd literally willed him not to do it.After slapping his sleeper finish(that hold was over back then)Piper looked set to win before Hart used the turn buckles and counter the hold into a pinning situation for the win as the ref came around.

None title match
Goldberg ( c ) vs Mark Henry(WWE RAW,28/09/03)

Booking your world champion in a none title match against a useless none entity on the flagship TV show.Another great example of how pathetic and vindictive Vince MacMahon can be.That he would sabotage his own company to make a man who was genuine superstar in WCW look second rate.Henry was sloppy, slow and as unnatheletic as usual, the only move he did that looked good was a gorilla press on Goldberg early on.As Goldberg was being pounded in the squared circle,Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler followed McMahon's instructions and really ran Goldberg down on commentary.Goldberg fought back with a big body slam but was then cut off with a chair shot from Rodney Mack,a disqualification followed but Henry and Goldberg kept brawling,Shawn Michaels sprinted in and nailed Rodney Mack with Sweet Chin Musicbut was then accidentally speared by Goldberg who then managed to Jackhammer Mark Henry who sandbagged through the execution of the move.

World Of Sport Wrestling(June 1981)

Pat "Bomber" Roach vs Johnny Kinkaid

A superb wrestling match between two super over performers who were both capable of brutal acts of violence and realistic shoot style holds.Roach was a huge man and his leverage advantage was evident when he launched Kincaid through the middle rope and the impact nearly knocked him out becsause he couldn't control the fall. That scary moment aside, this was super little match. Kincaid's submission holds were really put over by Roach, who.sold the effects as though he was in genuine agony.
