^Makes "Cash for questions" look completely innocent.

Johnson wants to get rid of the rules before they look into his affairs. If the expenses scandal was in this day and age they'd probably just laugh it off

Paterson's gone. The Government has done yet another, whiplash inducing, u-turn.
Many of the MP's who did vote for it, voted under duress, and are now furious Boris has made them all look like tits.

Just another day in Boris's premiership... Rolleyes

^ It seems the threats to make Tories included saying that if they did not vote for the rule change then any government funding for activities in their constituencies would be withdrawn. That itself is scandalous.

Gove's PPS was sacked for not voting for it and then reinstated yesterday when they reversed course.

PM's ratings plummet to new low according the Independent as half the country thinks the PM 'is corrupt'
As if we didn't know that already!! Tongue Tongue

Next thing we'll know, the Sun will pay the fee for every independent person who wants to stand in the General Election to split the Tory Vote. If they did I'd def stand against Johnson - I'm the lesser of two idiots.

Have always felt the Tories have never supported the working class much and this government proves it - once and for all time.

problem is labour will find a way of fucking it up

always said boris would never get through a full term as PM he will either get bored and resign he knows he will prob make a fortune outside or the Backbenchers will get rid if they see they are going to lose badly

main thing is who will replace him think its Sunaks to lose at the moment

^Probably will come down to straight fight between Gove and Sunak

What British politics DOES now need is a new political force other than the main three parties to sweep the land and sweep away the policies of what I would now call the most corrupt, sleaze ridden, untrustworthy government ever to take office. I hope the more embarrassing defeats that Labour and rebel Tory MP's combined can inflict on this Government the before Christmas, more untenable Boris' own position becomes,

Then the only place left for Boris to appear in public will be in the dock of of No 1 court at the Old Bailey. They can start to bring about his downfall very quickly with that flat investigation that has been mooted by the press, and where he has hidden those bloody expensive loo rolls!!! Tongue

RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - HannahsPet - 13-11-2021 10:13

problem is any new party would more than likely be Right Wing and more corrupt and sleaze ridden than the Torys Tongue Tongue
