Think it has the second biggest baseball league after the US (unless Mexico is bigger).
Saw an interesting piece posted online by the Guardian calling for these to be the last summer Olympics to be held ans the IOC to be dissolved since many sports in the Olympcs have their own world championships.

The Tokyo Organising Cttee chose 5 sports for inclusion (each host country gets allowed to choose some sports). They chose Baseball/Softball, (the women do Softball) Skateboarding, Surfing, Karate & Sport Climbing
