The first ever 3D film was released in cinemas in 1922.

Released in September of that year, The Power of Love was a silent film and was released in cinemas worldwide.

It even came with alternative ending that was decided by closing one eye or the other!

Sadly, the film is lost and hasn’t been found for decades!

Scientists genetically modified goats to spin spider silk from their udders.

US Professor Randy Lewis transplanted a gene into the goats from a spider that allows the goats to produce milk containing an extra protein.

This is then extracted from the goat milk and spun into spider silk thread.

There is a spacecraft graveyard in the South Pacific Ocean.

Known as “Point Nemo”, it is the furthest place on the Earth from land.

It is home to over 300 spacecraft and associated space debris, including the MIR space station, the first ever object assembled in planetary orbit by Russian cosmonauts.

According to a Career Builder survey, orange is the worst color you could possibly wear to a job interview.

Twenty-five percent of respondents claimed that the bright color comes across as unprofessional. (The best color to wear, in case you’re wondering, is blue.)

Sleeping burns more calories than watching TV does.

The main reason for this is that our sleeping selves take in exactly zero calories, but while we’re watching the tube, we often get tempted to eat.

Commercials and product placement don’t help matters.

A cat version of a corgi exists.

It’s called a “Munchkin cat,” and, like the corgi and the dachshund, its short legs and long body are the results of a genetic mutation.

If a cat possesses the autosomal dominant gene, which causes the leg bones to grow shorter, it can pass the trait on to its kittens.

According to a Georgia State University study, people with blue eyes tend to have a higher tolerance for alcohol and can drink more before they begin to feel the effects.

The flip side of this bit of random trivia?

It also means that blue-eyed people are more likely to become dependent on alcohol.

Researchers discovered a significant link between the genes that determine eye color and the genes that impact addictive habits.

Doritos chips are flammable and can start a fire if you’re in need of kindling.

The oil and seasoning on the chips, especially the spicy varieties, can actually produce a reasonably long-lasting fire.

On Corgis(lovely toys thoseBig Grin) they are good guard dogs, which is why the Queen likes them. When I was young some friends round the corner from us had two, one of them was a real vicious bastard and yapped at a friend of mine and then chased him up the road.
