Tanks were so called because the Army were developing them for the War in secret and put out a story that they were working on mobile water tanks and the name stuck-Little Willie was the world's first tank built in 1915 having a dig at the Kaiser whose son called Wilhelm (STOP SNIGGERING AT THE BACK THERE!) and followed by Big Willie(LOOK, I HAVE A DETENTION BOOK!) or the Mark 1. Later we developed the Chieftain and Challenger which is the latest one.
