Babe channels reprieved for this week. The number of complaints against general broadcasting channels is still high but will we see an 'In Breach' finding against them, i doubt it. I watched The Joy Of Teen Sex and was so outraged I complained. No discussion of why sex with teens (all over 18) is so much better than with a 40 year old and no bonking footage at all. Thats 6 hours of my life I wont get back. ![]() RE: Ofcom - Current Investigations - blackjaques - 15-02-2011 06:09 (15-02-2011 00:33 )dragonking Wrote: looks like elite are being under investigation now after looking at ofcoms latest complaints: So, the witchunt is in full swing in the corridors of Ofcon. RE: Ofcom - Current Investigations - mrmann - 15-02-2011 21:07 Whoever they are from, they shouldn't matter! These channels should be allowed to show a fully nude woman. A vagina on TV is not harmful to anyone, especially AFTER the watershed, and on ADULT channels. Hope Elite defends themselves. RE: Ofcom - Current Investigations - eccles - 15-02-2011 23:09 Said it before and so did GPP (sort of), this has all the hallmarks of a malicious complaint by one individual or converted action by a group, rather than indivuduals who were independently offended. There is 6 weeks between one show (16 Dec) and the complaint (25 Jan). Who is so outraged that they sit on a complaint for 6 weeks? I would almost lay money on Daily Mail type campaigns (Jerry Springer etc) not lasting 6 weeks. Why a cluster of 9 complaints against just one channel out of the blue? If the channel were that bad there should be a steady stream of complaints. If random individuals accidentially tuned in to adult channels the complaints should be about a range of channels, not one. No, a few people are specifically tuning into one channel week after week to complain about it. A statistician would have no difficult proving this to 99% a confidence level as I said to GPP in The Clarence on Friday. Ofcom should recognise these complaints for what they are and reject them.
