RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - William H Bonney - 30-05-2014 20:52 There are some positives for England in this display. Baines has shown how to whip the ball in from a corner, Lallana has been lively, Cahill has been solid and hopefully will stay fit considering the lack of alternatives, Hart kept England in the game at times despite the 3-0 scoreline, and Stones has come on at right back, so maybe provides another option there. I think I'd rather have Stones in the team than Jones, if Johnson proves to be too brittle. Rooney has to go down as a negative though, looking very rusty tonight. Only 25 mins for Sterling, but I expect him to start in the next friendly. RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - Fernandez Esperenda - 30-05-2014 20:57 You need to drop Rooney, he can't play your system you are trying, he and Wellbeck are holding you back, Barkley and Sterling should be in your starting 11 as they actually have some belief to take a player on instead of pass it backwards... As for Glen Johnson he's been terrible all season for us at Liverpool and is carrying it on for you for England, god help you in Brasil lol RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - Joey 27 - 30-05-2014 21:10 yeah cos brazil would have beat peru 8-0, jo would have scored 4 goals a pretty average perfernace from england nothing decent tonight but nothing to complain about either its just a friendly the players will be more motivated when the world cup starts RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - Fernandez Esperenda - 30-05-2014 21:14 Somehow when England are playing Peru Joey the the Troll can't help but feel the need to mention Brasil You do realise I am going to rip the absolute piss out of you when England get knocked out of the Group stage RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - whizzer - 30-05-2014 21:16 (30-05-2014 20:57 )Fernandez Esperenda Wrote: You need to drop Rooney Paul Scholes agrees with you. But is Hodgson brave enough to do it? RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - Fernandez Esperenda - 30-05-2014 21:21 Of course he isn't he can have as many attacking technical players in his team as he like but if he keeps playing players out of position just to accomodate Rooney and Wellbeck then it's pointless taking them. After this world cup if Rooney fails to produce he should be dropped and Hodgeson sacked, no excuses now for either... RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - Joey 27 - 30-05-2014 21:25 somehow you can't shut up talking about england when you are a brazil fan, you are the troll mate RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - Fernandez Esperenda - 30-05-2014 21:38 LOL says the guy who mentions Brazil or Liverpool in almost every single football conversation he has Funnily enough I watched an England game on the TV just, I am half English hense why I commented on what I saw...I don't understand what my nationality has anything to do with anything anyway? I made a fair assessment of the game that I see, just like the number of other posters who have posted basically the same thing as me, but once again you decide to single me out I didn't mention Brasil once, but for some reason that's the first thing you mentioned in here tonight which was noting to do with what we were all talking about... ie the England game... Either way Im not really in the mood for for your games tonight... sorry mate RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - Joey 27 - 30-05-2014 21:53 so you are half english but it don't sound like england are your second team, ScottishBloke probably likes england more than you do, just admit you want to see england fail badly at the world cup, my grandparents were born in italy but you don't see me slagging italy off all the time, if england don't win the world cup i hope italy do RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - whorelover - 31-05-2014 00:00 Rooney in form or not can deliver that something special, wellbeck needs to be dropped though. Better finishing from the Peruvians and it would have been a different game. 3-0 is flattering. |
