In the evening match Shaun Murphy won the first four frames against Gary Wilson which ultimately proved too steep a mountain to climb. Although Wilson pulled back to 3-4 with some quality breaks his earlier errors would bite him in the end as Murphy aided by a century saw out a 6-3 victory.

The touts probably got their hands on a fair share of them too, as they do. There must be around 2200 irate fans who paid to see Ronnie, some at highly marked up prices from the touts!

I wonder what the touts were charging?? bet the online sites charged probably twice as much!!!

Will we see Ronnie in the Masters ever again?

I'm not saying he is a spent force or anything but I certainly do think his impact is always felt whether he is competing or not.

When Tubs was 4-0, it seemed likely that Wilson wouldn't make it a double bill of great comebacks somehow.

Ding Junhui saw off Mark Williams in a see-saw encounter to win 6-5.
There was a scrappy opening to the match with the first two frames shared. Third frame. Ding goes into the pack of reds off a colour but a red goes in and a free ball ensues. Chance for Williams.
Looking good to win the frame but then a disastrous miscue on the blue opens the door back up for Ding who takes advantage for 2-1.
Williams then edged in front at 3-2 aided by runs of 57 and 70 before Ding won the next two with breaks of 64 and 60 to lead 4-3. You'd never guess what happened next laugh.
Yep that's right Williams won the next two. A magnificent 136 followed by sneaking frame 9 to lead 5-4.
You'd never guess what happened next Bounce. Ding levels with a 76 and wins the match with a glorious 90.

^ Probably the Jet lag caught up with him pretty quickly and that probably also was another reason what made him throw the cue in the bin as well I imagine.
