RE: Rugby world cup Japan 2019 Discussion Thread - lovebabes56 - 26-10-2019 17:40 The second disallowed try I would say you couldn't tell whether it was a NZ hand interfering or an England hand interfering and Owens probably leant more in view of NZ on that. The push on Farrell didn't warrant a red, but he should have got a yellow and when you think about it guys have been sent off for less. I would love to see a England Wales final Wales hsve played probably way better rugby than England at times but a lot depends on how well they have recovered from the France game. it would be a great advert for British rugby, for Six Nations and for Northern Hemisphere Rugby as a whole. To beat the All blacks for the first time in World cup AND end a 18 World cup Match winning streak is the best thing about it. I would say in four years' time NZ will have a totally different look about their team. It would be all of those things, and it would probably be the biggest audience for any final so far here in the UK!! Would be interested to see the tv audience figures for this tournament to date, to analyse the growth of interest in the game overall!! It is a personal view, but when you watch much of the rugby (and the sport overall) that has been played in this tournament, hard to imagine what attracts people to football to an even greater extent, but that is just me!! RE: Rugby world cup Japan 2019 Discussion Thread - lovebabes56 - 26-10-2019 19:37 You think SA may have too much for Wales? Superior up front (sheer size/weight) maybe, but Wales can hold their own I think there! Backline?? and in particular without Kolbe, they have lost more than just one player in effect, given his potential impact! Wales backline has threat throughout really, and they have far greater capacity to move SA around the park (finding holes Japan - despite best efforts - just could not) nullifying that forward pack the deeper they go!! Don't know the replacements yet (or haven't seen them) but can't imagine there is a significant difference there one way or the other! Wales were incredibly lucky to get past France. Will the poor performance give them the kick up the butt they need to play better tomorrow? They will have to do a lot, lot better at the breakdown and be mistake free to make it a close game imho. .
