Just watched first two episodes, wtf is with all the singing and dancing and (I’m not against it or have a the woke stuff as it were in the episodes so far)

I’ll continue n see how it goes, hopefully it gets toned down

Enjoying Ncuti as the new doctor though

IIRC there's no more singing and dancing after that Cool

RE: Dr Who - The Silent Majority - 24-06-2024 14:14

The first part was good. Things were building nicely. Then it went all to fuck.

Way too far on the scale of death and destruction. All the main characters got wiped out. Lethbridge-Stewart, Ruby's Mum, the Alien ripped off from Farscape, et all. Then the whole Universe.
At that point it was clear there was only one outcome, a full reversal of everything.
Once that was apparent the sense of jeopardy was lost. It was just a case of how it was going to be done.

And wtf was the spoon about? Huh

A new project was on BBC4 last night, a heavily truncated and colourised repeat of the last B&W story from 1969.

And the new episode is on BBC1 as warm-up to the more serious Wallace & Gromit return Wink

RE: Dr Who - lovebabes56 - 25-12-2024 07:53

I get the feeling that the return of Wallace & Gromit is more highly anticipated
