The Richter Scale for earthquakes is a logarithmic scale.
So 8 is really bad and happens near to where there's a fault in the Earth's crust but 4 that we might get in say Bradford or Edenbridge or somewhere isn't half as bad.
Which is just as well.

Plus seismographs are really sensitive devices that record earthquakes and during the war recorded the explosions of bombs all the way away in Germany. So they know when the bombs exploded when they bombed the Mohne Dam for instance because the explosions were recorded back in the UK.

Due to the humid and moist conditions that a sloth lives in, moss and other similar plants will sometimes grow in its hair.

Sloth’s also have very bad eyesight.

These two factors can sometimes culminate in a sloth grabbing its own arm, whilst thinking it is a branch, and falling to its death!
