The governments got to get the money back that they have spent on the virus somehow.. It was 280bn before the latest lockdown.

^ I don't think that it works like that. It would be nice if it did.

How long did it take to get to this level of 'deterrent'? Stop pussy footing around, and deal with those that break the rules and endanger everyone else once - and - for - all in a harsh manner. It is long past time when the 'I didn't know the rules' plea ran aground! Time for the court system to be used as necessary!

IT loophole in vaccine booking system allows people not yet eligible for jabs to "jump queue" ahead of health workers and over 70's and those people are not even asked for proof of eligibilty for jabs.

Iwonder now it has come to light the people responsible for this software are now working to close the loophole and hope hackers are not working out how to create new ones.

My mum had her first injection (Oxford/Astrazeneca) at 0930 this morning. The local NHS are doing an outstanding job and the Nurse who came to see her had another 10 to do before midday.

Nice to see a bit of light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully we'll be able to take her out to a few places this summer.
