Starship Troopers was brilliant! A subversive anti-militaristic polemic that also had giant bugs ripping people in half and Denise Richard's and Dina Meyer's fun bags, what's not to love? although Jake Busey's man meat was sort of off-putting...

it pissed me off when they released it on dvd over here it only came out as one disc and in the u.s it came out as 2 disc

To describe ST2 as a steaming pile of unwatchable horse shit is being kind. The film is so awful I can't actually describe it's terribleness without being overcome with bleak depression and an overwhelming urge to kill myself. I wish I could afford hypno-therapy to erase it from my memory.
On second thoughts, the urge to kill the people who made it, then commit suicide. At least my death will protect the world from future abominations.
As I tell you this, bear in mind I liked Deathstalker, Showdown in Little Tokyo and Toxic Avenger 4. It really is that bad.
