Can you see the number 480 on the bottom line on the video? If so, click on it and change it to 360.

I was getting that grey copyright infingement screen, but the videos play ok again now - in both 480 and 360 setting.

I didn't do anything. Perhaps you might try closing and reopening your web browser, and refreshing/reloading a page with videos again. Then if that doesn't work, clear Cache & Cookies and try again.
If it still won't work, then it might be an IP or ISP thing, which may involve some iP altering shenanigans to view vk vids, but I don't know anything about how to do that sort of thing.

I've just done a quick check and it seems that every video that Smc has uploaded over the past few days, now has the following message.
This site is blocked by VK.com for copyright infringement or pornographic videos.
Go to vk.com
