Fuck I have just uploaded my vid to send Sendvid which was well over an hour yet when I uploaded it to this forum like you say it only showed 15 minutes of it. Looks like its RIP for video bam for me Huh

https://www.google.co.uk/drive/

You've used it before mate so it should be self explanatory, just make sure once you have uploaded your video that in the sharing options that you make it available to everybody to see or you could upgrade to PRO as after speaking to a few members they reckon that video bam will only support members that are willing to pay now as their uploads have been unaffected.

I had a nasty feeling you where going to say that. Luckily I've managed to find my login details, so I will go back to using them instead for the moment.

Cannot see the point of video bam moving to a site that's restricted when they weren't, I just hope that they don't start deleting the videos I've already uploadedHuh

Yes googledrive is a bit temperamental, if it doesn't like your file then it will spit it out and refuse to process it, hence the reason I am never overally keen to use it.

Because I am returning to work tomorrow night I'll see how long video bam stops free members from uploading any more videos because it'll be a few more weeks before I'm able to contribute on this front again.

I have been led to believe the reason they have now limited it to Pro Members only is because the server was being overloaded hence the reason its been crashing more frequently than it used to do Huh

If the situation remains the same in a few weeks time then I'll be giving serious consideration to upgrading to a Pro Account.

To upload content from Googledrive to this forum follow these instructions.

Go to video once upload and processing is completed and double click to open.
When open - Go to top of page and click pop out.
On popout window go to top of the page again far right for more actions.
Click on that and select embedded item.
Take code.
Paste onto this forum.

Before you do that right click and select share.
Change it to anyone on the internet can find and view it.
You can also take a sharing direct link to the video from there too.

Can anyone confirm if video bam is still going to available for upoading if you go pro, especially as it says "We're moving to Sendvid.com - even better video hosting!" on their upload page.

Which totally confuses me because you can still apply to go pro, but it doesn't say if the notice about moving only applies to free users.

And as there is virtually no way of contacting them to find out, except by sending them tweets which they never reply to it is very frustrating. I would be quite happy to pay for a pro account, but I'd like to make sure that they're not going to close down firstbladewave

^^^ I've a Pro account and it doesn't mention Sendvid on my upload page.

I think they are trying to get rid of the casual uploaders and people with basic accounts, if it reduces the server overloads I'm all for it Smile

All in all just another brick in the wall.... I reckon that's me done with posting videos even on the very limited scale I was doing these days.

^^^ It's only $90 for a 12 month Pro account, not really that expensive If you think about it, plus you can upload 1 gig files and you don't get the adverts and annoying popups.

Exactly!, I just wanted to make sure they were still operating before I upgraded. Especially as the wording on their site is about as clear as fog.

Plus upgrading is on offer $59.95 for a monthly pass, so I will certainly be getting oneBig Grin
