The Nationwide adverts featuring Dominic West as a bank boss.
He's wanting to introduce cutback and closures to his bank, whilst his underling points out that Nationwide isn't following those ideals.

Which is the way that things should be except the fact that Nationwide recently decided to close the towns branch for 2 extra days a week. annoyed

Sue Cooke advertising cheap funerals, saying she would like one for her self. It's her own fault if she is skint, she hasn't done a days work since leaving crimewatch, she even pulled out of an evening with Alan Partridge at the Lyton travel tavern.Smile

Anyone care to comment on the Christmas ads they've seen so Fer this year?

I'm often wound up with misleading adverts.
One of the biggest culprits are car manufacturers.
They show off an awesome looking vehicle...then small words underneath tell you that the car shown is not to UK specifications.
What the fuck are they playing at?
Has anyone else any adverts they've seen that are just as bad?

Funnily enough I was wondering if there was an "ads that annoy you" type thread or similar. The Asda "Price Match" ad is currently doing my head in. If I was the bloke at the checkout I'd just walk out and leave her to put it back on the shelves Big Laugh

Another piss poor advert is the one for Calgon. Some dodgy geezer showing how bad your washing machine performs without using their miracle tablet.
My days ....not sure how they expect to pass off his lip sync with English?

The AA advert where a woman drops her phone in the shit...

How the hell did the AA man know where she was?
