The full gear ppv was probably the best ppv I've watched in the last few years I just enjoy when they just have no real time limit in most matches and let them beat the holy hell out of one another I managed to watch a YouTube link of it I recommend anyone who is a fan to watch the ppv

RE: All Elite Wrestling discussion Thread - winsaw - 09-11-2020 15:43

agree with the above it was the best card i have watched this year, AEW got almost all the show right, only the womans match were not great,

buy in show - Serena Deeb vs. Allysin Kay - NWA World Women's Championship-
when was the last time a NWA belt was seen on a big PPV, it was a very good match from two very good experienced women, i liked the match and was better than you usually see from the AEW women, there was never any thought that Deeb would ever lose, with Thunder Rosa staying with NWA i can see these 3 having lots of great matches with each other AEW should be signing all 3 up, its funny that the best womans matches in AEW are not for the AEW belt,

match 1 Hangman Page vs. Kenny Omega - World Title Eliminator Final -
wow this was as good as expected , i would say one of the best one on one matches AEW have ever put on, it had everything you would want, both worked so well together, Omega was always going to win but that didn't stop it being a good match, its going to be interesting to see where both go after this,

match 2 Orange Cassidy vs. John Silver -
this was so much better than expected it was non stop fun , both wrestlers looked really good and worked well together, it is a match i had over looked but was really fun to watch, Cassidy won as expected but was a big moment for Silver who looks to be going places,

match 3 Darby Allin vs. Cody Rhodes - TNT Championship Match -
late addition to the card , this was a great match again, there 4 excellent match together, it was so good to see Allin have his break out moment and move into the head line position, the story of the match was perfect Cody thinking he was better than anyone and Allin never giving up, after the match team Taz attacked Allin

match 4 Hikaru Shida vs. Nyla Rose - AEW Women's Championship Match -
the worst match of the night, it wasnt that they did anything wrong but there was just not a lot exciting happening , it had non of the fun madness of the first match they had, some times it was a ugly match to watch as they dont have styles that match well, also the fact there had been zero story build up for it ment no one was bothered, it was the perfect match to have a break from watching lol,

match 5 The Young Bucks vs. FTR - AEW Tag Team Championship Match -
match of the night, best match on AEW this year, thank god it lived up to the hype, this was the perfect wrestling match, great story through out, great in ring moves, it was non stop action, the Bucks winning was unexpected but will be interesting to see what happens, i dont see them holding it long time,

match 6 Matt Hardy vs. Sammy Guevara - Ultimate Deletion Match-
this was totally mad, it was such fun to watch, it came for Matt's house, it had lots of stunts Sammy was nearly run over with a monster truck, it had lots of other people involved , Santana and Ortiz helped Sammy and Private Party help Matt, it also had Hurricane Helms and Gangrel in the match as i say total mad fun, Senor Benjamin was also there first time with Matt since impact, this was Matt at his mad best, it was the sort of crazy that made him a star at impact, i hope AEW do more of this with him, Matt won, seams AEW are still not ready to push Sammy

match 7 Chris Jericho vs. MJF -
a good solidly old school wrestled match which made a nice change to all the high flying and madness that had come before, it was unusual to see a heel v heel match work so will, shows how good both are, MJF winning is going to make things interesting on tv

match 8 - 'I Quit' Match for the AEW World Championship: Jon Moxley vs. Eddie Kingston -
OMG this was amazing , it was like watching a classic CZW match form 15 years ago, it was the most physical and violent match AEW has ever put on, Eddie was ready to show the world he was good enough to be a main eventer and Mox was going to do everything he could to make his friend look a million dollers, Kingston responded by turned in the performance of a lifetime, Mox took some amazing bumps, the ending was so hard core it left both men looking stars and the to hardest men in AEW , i would hope Eddie gets more shots at the top in the future,
who would have thought at the start of 2020 that Eddie would be headling one of the best PPV of the year by the end of it,

well done AEW after the last PPV not working they really turned it around

RE: All Elite Wrestling discussion Thread - winsaw - 14-11-2020 16:59

a mixed show this week some good in ring action, but some poor talky bits,

match one - Matt Sydal vs. Brian Cage -
enjoyed this match a lot, both worked really well together, lots of fast paced action, both where booked as equal, nice to see Sydal being talked up by the commentates, was a good win for Cage as she goes after the TNT belt,

next Cody Rhodes Speaks, Jade Cargill Debuts and Drops a Bombshell -
so boring, basically Cody said he would not be chasing the TNT belt at the moment then newbie Jade said the Shaq who i think is a basketball player will be looking to fight Cody, this dragged on for ever until finally team FTR beat up Cody,

match 2 - Bunkhouse Match: The Natural Nightmares vs. The Bunny and The Blade -
this was great violent fun, lots of Blood, very physical but most important well-executed, every big move was well done and made sense, props to the bunny for going thought a table, the naturals won,

next was MJF's Inner Circle Induction -
this didn't work for me, i was expecting fun but not a lot happened and was pretty boring, they are all going to Vegas next week

match 3 - Scorpio Sky vs. Shawn Spears -
this was a good match until the rushed screw job finish, made a joke of the AEW wins matter thing as both should be in the world title top 5 the amount they have won on dark this year, they both did well and should be on tv more often,

match 4 - Red Velvet vs. Tay Conti
Tay on tv woo-hoo she looked hot, the match was good as well, both girls did well with some good big moves, the match went longer than ever was used to and both looked knackered by the end starting to make some mistakes, it was a break out match for red and Tay push from dark is going well, i expect both to be on tv a lot next year,

main event - Rey Fenix vs. Penta El Zero Miedo -
they showed why they are two of the best in the world again, what a match , as good as anything i have seen this year on tv, they both ripped each other mask, you could almost see Penta face fully, that only happens with Mexican wrestlers when it is a really important match,
the mad king Kingston was at his scumbag heel best trying to split The Lucha Bros up, kicking Rey out the ring after the match like trash was perfect, but a returning Pac came out to make the save a good way to rebuild Kingston after his loss and to get Pac back into things,

in other AEW news they had planed to go back out on the road in December, but there shows on Dec 2 in New Orleans and Dec 30 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico have been cancelled now, its not clear yet if they will just have shows form Jackson as normal,
the Dec 2 show was going to be big with the world title on the line, be interesting to see if that happens now or they keep it for the next PPV,

Agree very interesting indeed. I think it’s fantastic gamechanging news and it’s fantastic as well that two rival promotions are working together instead of fighting each other. Think there will be an impact v aew PPV coming early next year

Was fun yesterday seeing various Impact & AEW stars tweeting their Impact v AEW dream matches

RE: All Elite Wrestling discussion Thread - winsaw - 05-12-2020 03:42

My God i didn't see that coming, that's the most exciting wrestling show I seen on TV in years, the screw job finish and they jumping in the car and heading to impact will just stay in people mind for ever, that's AEW first real peace of wrestling history, to say I am excited to see what happens is an understatement,

RE: All Elite Wrestling discussion Thread - winsaw - 05-12-2020 03:46

Also Sting is back I mean OMG I marked out and did a woo when I saw him , never thought would see him in the ring again, one of my wrestling heroes growing up, that moment he looked at Allen his natural sucesser to the role was so exciting , are where not bull shiting when they said biggest night they had ever had
