Not an ideal start to the Omnium for Laura Kenny. She was caught up in a huge crash in the final lap of the scratch race.
Luckily she seems to be uninjured but she looked absolutely furious as she walked off track.

After recovering well in the tempo race Laura Kenny saw it all go pear shaped in the elimination race and heads into the points race in 9th position.

Equaled the medal total in 2012 which is good
athletics and rowing were not as good as before but other sports took over
