Well 24 hours divides neatly into 3 x 8 hours, which is the length of a working day. Besides, the presenter hours we see in operation are based on just that principle, 3 lots of girls on air every 24 hours (with the odd 'overlapping' girl).

I'm assuming the producer can't man the camera and at the same time be watching the broadcast output and be ready to press the button if necessary. So it seems likely to me that these are two different roles.

No the box girl doesn't come live just by calling her, but they are supposed to be removing those boxes anyway.

Yes you're right admiral, Jamie is the only top dog at Studio 66, although these days he seems to take little involvement in the day to day running of the channels. He certainly hasn't been operating the chatbox, as has been wildly speculated in this thread.

Yes, I was probably being overly cautious there. I had a distinct recollection of other names being alongside his at company house at times in the past. But I must admit its been a LONG time since I looked.
