Hello poolieguy I assumed you were drowning your sorrows over the redskins poor results this season. How was the Wembley game? I personally thought it was to one sided and the result to predictable to be interesting. Did you get that picture of you with Tom Brady Than? ![]() RE: NFL 2009/10 - Poolieguy01 - 08-11-2009 21:06 (08-11-2009 19:30 )setter1000 Wrote:(08-11-2009 19:24 )Poolieguy01 Wrote: Sorry i havent posted in a while guys, have been without the internet for two bloody weeks. Game was as i expected but had a good weekend anyway. No i didnt get the pic ![]() RE: NFL 2009/10 - setter1000 - 09-11-2009 22:36 why have people stopped posting on this thread? I thought Poolieguy and brummie would have posted to say how happy they are that a nfc east colleagues team are doing so well, and how they share my joy. ![]() It is odd the Cowboys could have easily been 8-0 but then again they could easily have been at 3-5, tight as the games has been I bet the skins will pull out a blinder against us in two weeks time ![]() RE: NFL 2009/10 - seth - 10-11-2009 00:02 Who do you guys think will win between the Colts and the Patriots? RE: NFL 2009/10 - setter1000 - 10-11-2009 00:05 I reckon the Patriots they are beginning to go up another gear whilst the colts were very fortunate to escape with a win against Houston. I think it would be a great game regardless. What is your opinion Seth? RE: NFL 2009/10 - seth - 10-11-2009 00:13 I think the patriots are the better side. I don't know why, I've a feeling the colts may sneak it this time for some strange reason. RE: NFL 2009/10 - brummie - 10-11-2009 20:29 I think Patriots may have the better team, the Brady-Moss combination is a weapon that could shred anyone. The Colts seem to have a never say die attitude that keeps getting the job done. Overall I think I would just have the Patriots edging it by a late 3 pointer. Oh and Setter I don't think you need worry too much about the Skins, I don't think we could beat the Cowboys cheerleaders at the minute
![]() RE: NFL 2009/10 - Poolieguy01 - 12-11-2009 21:01 No way are the Pats the better side, The Colts are playing Superbly, they have the best QB in the league who is still producing despite losing his offensive co-ordinator in the off-season and throwing to no-name WRs in Collie and Garcon. Their defense is also playing better led by the defensive ends who are getting constant pressure on opposing QBs. The pats run defense is very good but their pass rush could let them down in this one. If they cant get to Manning it's going to be a long day for the Pats. And as for the Colts struggling past the Texans, every team has an off day and the important thing is the W. The other factor in this game is the fact its in Indy. Colts by 7 As for us, i keep telling you guys we suck. I will honestly be shocked if we win another game this season. RE: NFL 2009/10 - Hollywood PillowPants - 13-11-2009 15:38 The Colts/Patriots game is tough to call, there's not much to separate both teams in terms of talent, form wise The Colts despite being unbeaten haven't been playing well lately, they should have lost to The Texans last week, but on the other hand The Pats running game has been none-existent of late. I think the edge goes to The Pats, simply because The Colts secondary is beat up at the moment,Bob Sanders and Marlin Jackson out injured should see Tom Brady going deep from the off. Good too see you back Poolieguy01,when i heard The Redskins had a new offensive play-caller and with your absence,i put 2+2 together and came up with 5. ![]() RE: NFL 2009/10 - brummie - 13-11-2009 22:50 (13-11-2009 15:38 )PillowPants Wrote: Good too see you back Poolieguy01,when i heard The Redskins had a new offensive play-caller and with your absence,i put 2+2 together and came up with 5. If only it were true, but I reckon he's holding out for the top job any week now ![]() Incidentaly just thought I'd mention Wisconsin-Michigan in Big 10 college football on Eurosport 2 on saturday.
