^^^^ i agree, the cgi could be way better. need to spend some more cash.

RE: Supergirl - *Kal-El* - 03-02-2016 16:02

The thing is they have cash as there budget is way bigger then either Arrow or that matter The Flash, CBS are rich network it sounds like to me that there rushing the time being spent on the effects.

RE: Supergirl - terence - 03-02-2016 16:12

maybe it's just that i don't really think the shows that good atm. it seems to be geared more towards younger kids than adults imo.

RE: Supergirl - HannahsPet - 03-02-2016 16:32

its more lois and clark than smallville. might have been better not going up against arrow and the flash and legends of tommorow same time of year

still a good show but when its on the same time slot in the same weeks as the above shows its going to get compared

RE: Supergirl - *Kal-El* - 03-02-2016 16:32

It's actually geared towards the female audience it was designed to showcase a strong female character hence why it's always going on about her being female and so much romance being shoved into it. Of late they've been cutting back on it and the show was a little better. I still think the CGI is being rushed because when they did that big reveal of this particular DC character that was totally CGI great. It's only when they have to do something big and ambitious you gonna need more time to work on it and there on a deadline so it gets rushed.

must admit i speed forward through all the girly nonsense

Am shocked by the fact it's going down the route because they said from even before the show hence why a few people before show aired were worried about how the tone of the show would be. Supergirl was only created in the comics to give females something to relate too to which you couldn't do with Superman. I don't have a problem with showcasing that she's a female and to show her in a strong positive light considering there's so many male lead shows and the same with big screen it's just don't need to keep reminding us every two mins that she's a woman living in a male world, as I said when they've cut back on that a little the same with forced romances and just focused on the character it will fine, Melissa Benoist not looks the part but plays Kara/Supergirl very well.
