RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - Charlemagne - 22-05-2019 20:39 Andrea Leadsom has resigned her post as Leader of the House. She's getting ready to challenge as the next leader. RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - lovebabes56 - 22-05-2019 20:43 ^who would you guys prefer - Leadsom or Johnson to succeed May? RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - papahet3969 - 22-05-2019 21:22 Johnson of the 2 as hes a Brexiteer RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - southsidestu - 23-05-2019 01:03 Leadsom is a Brexiteer and unlike Boris is a real one who didn't write two articles for The Telegraph, one for Remain one for Leave, and make a last minute decision as to which one he would go with. Michael Heseltine summed it up perfectly: " he goes whichever way the wind blows, he waits to see which way the crowd is moving then runs to the front and says follow me" RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - lovebabes56 - 23-05-2019 07:34 Don't forget to use a pen to vote today!!!! RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - Tumble_Drier - 23-05-2019 10:02 Don't forget your tinfoil hat too. RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - lovebabes56 - 23-05-2019 10:16 ^At the ready major sir!! RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - GMach1 - 23-05-2019 11:49 Used a pencil to vote and the voting slip was the longest, most ridiculous waste of paper I have ever seen. It must have been 3ft long and the last bit just had the Independent candidates on it and a box to tick. Thank goodness it is only every five years we do this, but if we leave the EU we won't have to vote using this farce of a slip ever again. RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - Charlemagne - 23-05-2019 11:55 The sheet was so long that it didn't fit on the shelf in the booth. And the ballot box was full at 10:30am. I take it that there are spares boxes. RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - The Silent Majority - 23-05-2019 12:06 Voted last week to avoid the rush |
