Leadsom is a Brexiteer and unlike Boris is a real one who didn't write two articles for The Telegraph, one for Remain one for Leave, and make a last minute decision as to which one he would go with.

Michael Heseltine summed it up perfectly: " he goes whichever way the wind blows, he waits to see which way the crowd is moving then runs to the front and says follow me"

Used a pencil to vote and the voting slip was the longest, most ridiculous waste of paper I have ever seen. It must have been 3ft long and the last bit just had the Independent candidates on it and a box to tick. Thank goodness it is only every five years we do this, but if we leave the EU we won't have to vote using this farce of a slip ever again. Smile

The sheet was so long that it didn't fit on the shelf in the booth.
And the ballot box was full at 10:30am. I take it that there are spares boxes.
