RE: Fascinating Facts and Trivia - The Goatman - 30-11-2018 18:34 ^^ Play a lot of snooker do you kelly ? RE: Fascinating Facts and Trivia - GMach1 - 30-11-2018 18:36 No it was most definitely spelt 'ferrule' - there is feral but that usually means wild. A quick look online and I found this: A ferrule (from Latin viriola, meaning little bracelet) is a ring or cap attached to an object to protect against damage, splitting, or wear. In fiber optic, a ferrule is a component (usually a rigid tube) used to align and protect the stripped end of a fiber. It is possible you could be right as well. In the past I spent many an evening staring confused at his upside down cue in the corner of the room, until he explained why... and while the glue went off sticking on a new tip. I played once, was crap, so stick to the odd game of pool on the rare occasion I even go to a pub or social club these days. (if i can't smoke inside i don't go places unless i have to go.)
