Rumours abound that the letters of no confidence have started trickling in to the 1922 Committee.

Boris has sent a diplomatic letter to Macron detailing several ideas to solve the migrant crisis, some of which would impact on French sovereignty.

Then published the whole thing on twitter for the word to see. Thus guaranteeing the only response Macron could give this close to the French election - "Fuck Off".

Has he got nobody left to advise him on this stuff?

Macron hasn't taken it well, and has told Pretti Patel that she's no longer welcome on France meeting of European minister regarding migration.

Boris's rating have been dropping fast, he's having constistant arguements with Sunak regarding finances and it can't be long before the Tory knives come out.
If they can do it to Maggie, they can do the same to a drip like Boris.

He's way out of his depth. He needs to be gone now.

Can't see him lasting beyond Christmas get the feeling there is going to be a power grab soon from within

Wonder if there would be a snap election if Johnson is ousted?

I think tbh France has always seen this people smuggling thing as a "British problem" and "It is not our problem either" type situation, despite the fact that is it happening on French shores.

Whatever happen, I think it is far more likely there will be discussions at that Franch meeting and nothing will be decided to tackle the problem hesd on and nothing will change. The fact that Macron refuses to allow British boots on French probaby ties in with the fact that France gets the EU presidency thingy in 2022 and he doesn't want anything to sidetrack that important moment.

I would think Boris' days are numbered

Nothing to do with sovereignty then?

You know, that thing that was so important to us as part of Brexit...

Boris was clear he wanted to take back control of our own borders so can anyone explain why he wants the French to do that job for us.

Oh and they keep talking about legal asylum routes - they exist in name only because of over 3,000 Iranians who arrived here last year only 1 was allowed in through a so called legal asylum route. Do you really think they would risk their lives if they could realistically apply from Iran and get accepted?

There is a word for their immigration policy - RACISM
