Over to you Mitch RE: UFC - groundnpound - 02-07-2013 22:31 This is stuck to Chris Weidman's fridge... RE: UFC - groundnpound - 04-07-2013 14:23 Thought the 162 poster was quite smart. RE: UFC - mitchell - 04-07-2013 19:54 I've not missed an event for at least 10 years so I've obviously seen Chris Weidman fight but I just don't remember him at all.... Strange? Nate Marquardt v Hector Lombard added to UFC 166 Velasquez v dos Santos III in Houston in October. Even though it may be the last chance for both or either I think this fight has some potential. MMA Referee Josh Rosenthal Sentenced to 37 Months in Federal Prison on Drug Charges Noted mixed martial arts referee Josh Rosenthal has been sentenced to 37 months in federal prison. Rosenthal pled guilty to felony charges of conspiracy to manufacture and distribute marijuana. Senior District Judge Saundra Brown Armstrong at the U.S. District Court in Northern California handed down Rosenthal’s sentencing on Tuesday, according to an MMAFighting.com report. MMAWeekly.com confirmed the report with U.S. District Court officials. The 37-month federal prison sentence was mandatory with no possibility of parole. In addition to the prison sentence, Rosenthal also received a three-year supervised release and was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment fee, according to a spokesperson for the U.S. District Court office. The charges stem from a raid by federal agents on a warehouse owned by Rosenthal and his associate, Jeff Weller. The two were accused of operating a large-scale marijuana production and distribution facility in Oakland, Calif. The facility housed more than 1,000 marijuana plants with an estimated street value of more then $6 million. Rosenthal has refereed fights at the highest level of the sport, including the Ultimate Fighting Championship, but had, until recently, been absent from the sport since reports of the charges against him surfaced. RE: UFC - groundnpound - 04-07-2013 21:53 Weidman will be a nightmare for Anderson Silva Mitchell. He's a destroyer! At this stage of Silva's career I think a fighter like Chris Weidman could be too much for him. If Silva doesn't produce one of his crazy strikes to end the fight I think Weidman takes his belt. It's been a while since Silva fought a truly hungry fighter in his prime like Weidman. We might just see Weidman take him down, hammer him with knees, punches, elbows, all sorts and finish him. His hands are on the belt already! RE: UFC - TDK2008 - 05-07-2013 05:05 (04-07-2013 14:23 )groundnpound Wrote: Thought the 162 poster was quite smart. Weidman's fighting half a torso .
