948 stream is slow & jumpy.
just wondering why they changed the whole player as it use to work fine before.

RE: Webstream player problems - BBLackey - 22-11-2009 07:00

Moved 948 to a different box remotely, think something is up with it so will check Monday

As for the player change, was for a few reasons, one being that the old player was configured more for static content as opposed to live streaming, so it would buffer, which is not good when u want live feeds. When I get the time, I will be adding features to the simple player like fullscreen and such, but wanting to get the stream working properly before I add anything else.

Stream not working was there an issue due to the bad weather last night?

RE: Webstream player problems - BBLackey - 22-11-2009 11:30

Ill have a look now, was working around 6am this morning when I had a look

RE: Webstream player problems - BBLackey - 22-11-2009 11:34

Just checked, Donna should be on (wasnt enabled at 10)... more girl/s in at 11

RE: Webstream player problems - TheWatcher - 22-11-2009 12:20

Donna on stream 901 is faulty. Its varying between 1 frame per sec and 1 frame in 5 secs.
Sometimes just a black screen. (@ 11.18am)

959 with Victoria is ok but a bit jerky.

Other 2 streams have offline message.

RE: Webstream player problems - BBLackey - 23-11-2009 00:51

Offline message is just when guys who are producing the show have taken a girl off (or forgotten to turn it back on)

Have noticed the problem with 901 and 959 earlier, think Im going to have to upgrade the streaming machines or format them 1 by 1. Been meaning to revert to the old codec this week but been busy, the H264 one definately doesnt like that purple animal print set!

RE: Webstream player problems - BBLackey - 23-11-2009 16:12

OK, so all the streams should be on the old codec (from a month or so ago), so hopefully that will elimanate some of the motion blur (Especially on the animal print box set).

Someone "kindly" unplugged the internet connection to the streams in the early hours, so thats why that was down completely from 4am or so... and have reset the other machines so that should get rid of the lag that some of the streams had.

Will try and get a remote solution setup so I can control the machines from home, did have it before but uninstalled at some point as wasnt worthwhile (as we had that piddly slow connection for so long)

RE: Webstream player problems - TheWatcher - 23-11-2009 16:43

901 picture is good but its only 1 fps
959 seems pefectly ok
other 2 have offline message
comments for streams at 3.40pm
