I still wouldnt count barca out. mind you the press are always quick to count teams out only to them go thru. good chance barca's back line will be back for the other leg

in fact 4-0 cushion might be a disadvantage cos if bayern go into the game thinking they have already won then they could be in for a total shock

Last German winners was Bayern in 2001 and before that Borussia Dortmund in 96

Usually I find Champions League matches without a British team a total non event.
But this years Germany v Spain semi finals have proved to be extremely entertaining.

But have you noticed that the games have been more physical. With the refs trying to keep play continuious.
And the German teams seem to have learnt a new trick with the blocking of defenders.
And I loved it when Ozil was booked for his attempt at getting an opposition player booked by waving an imaginary yellow card.

Despite tonight's heavy defeat for Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo became only the 5th player to score 50 goals in the Champions League. The other 4 are Raul 71, Messi 59, van Nistelrooy 56 and Henry 50.

i was amazed at the fitness of the 2 german teams, usually you would associate that with english teams, going for the full 90 mins. looks like wembley will be full of germans!

I've not bet Bayern though. If Dortmund go out I'll take another look at them.

They'll do well to get 25,000 each mate.

We got 25,000 for the final against Chelsea last year. 30 odd for Everton semi.

i know some lads who play for local sunday league team and they said for the fa cup final that the local team can apply for tickets and they have been given them as well, dunno if they still do that now though. not fair when theres loads of people like you who spend a fortune and go to all games and some have to miss out cos they give tickets throughout the country to random people who apply.
