But the key test for a web-only outfit is whether it can create enough awareness and traffic to generate the revenues to sustain TV quality production. I'm not entirely sure that's possible. Otherwise, you have to start trimming costs, which you do by the babes camming from home etc.

I'd pose the question: what has been a successful web-only babe channel? I'm interested in what success looks like, and the quality/standard we can expect from VNTV. Who should they try to be like?

As good as that? Wow, sounds awesome.
Can you tell them to invest in a roll of sellotape or if they're really flush a staple gun for those pesky wallpaper emergencies?

That sounds like you're describing the current TV services laugh

Why aren't babestation and studio 66 in HD ? That could be something vntv should have...HD titties

The money VN save from not paying to be on Sky and Freeview, needs to be pumped into their cameras, sound, sets and lighting.

Being web-only frees them from any OFCOM restrictions, but they'll need to heavily invest in their FTA cam from home service.

Basing their studios in Birmingham is good, it's easy to reach for presenters based in the north and south.

It'll be interesting to see if they've created one large set for multiple presenters like BS24, or multiple solo sets (bed, office, alleyway etc).

24 hours worth of daily BangBabes era 2-4-1 FTA content should be their standard level of output, it'll make them stand out from the crowd.

Another USP for VN is they should offer custom videos on MV.

Problem on the horizon next year is that the Govt is bringing in Av so they have to build up an audience before then other wise the greatest sets and cameras in the world wont save them

^ It might depend on how they plan to handle the AV integration. If they are better geared up for it and streamlined to share AV with larger sites even they may benefit from others being less prepared. (Does anyone in their right minds imagine all the operators will instigate a smooth transition for their customers when they get the BBFC call? bladewave Someone's will be a cluster fuck. Probably more than one.)

The bandwidth required to transmit an HD channel is a lot more than that required for a SD channel.

HD camera equipment is quite expensive as well. If a channel would go high definition this might end in higher connection charges to compensate the high costs of HD equipment and bandwidth.
