RE: UFC - DeadPanStan - 03-05-2015 14:42

^^Who knows. He's a terrific fighter and I was really hoping to see him fight rumble Johnson before the Summer's end but that's not gonna be possible now clearly.

Cormier/Rumble should be a good alternative for now. But this guys second driving offence and with the felony charge too he is likely to see the inside of a jail cell this time.

Daft for sure. He wasn't even offered a chance at a plae I read as he had some form of rental paper linking him directly as the car driver.SurprisedSurprised How can someone be so stupid.

As a fight fan this sucks bum bum, but as a person you have to hope justice is served.

"Rowdy" Ronda Rousey retained her title in a spectacular 34 seconds overnight and dedicated her win to "Rowdy" Roddy Piper who allowed her to use the "Rowdy" nickname

RE: UFC - Rammyrascal - 15-11-2015 10:21

one of the biggest upsets in ufc history happened overnight. interesting to see what happens now for this ufc fighter

RE: UFC - bigguy01 - 15-11-2015 15:10

if a rematch does happen then it is going to be epic.

RE: UFC - Ducky - 15-11-2015 16:55

After a card that kinda bored me a bit (largely due to there being such a flat atmosphere with the polite Aussie crowd) the main event was absolutely spectacular.

Hats off to Rhonda for hanging in there for so long - I woulda been knocked the f**k out in the first round with those shots she ate.

Rather than a rematch, I feel that Tate deserves the next title shot.
It's not as though it was a close fight or a controversial result.

RE: UFC - AtomicBuffalo - 15-11-2015 17:03

I'd definitely rather see Miesha get the shot, it's not like Ronda was hard done by or it was close. I have got to admit, I gave Holly next to fucking zero chance but I'm so glad I was wrong. The UFC will want that belt around their golden goose's waist again as soon as possible, you can't sell 'once in a lifetime'/'baddest woman in the planet' nonsense when she just got her head kicked off. Karma is a bitch and so is Rousey.

RE: UFC - HEX!T - 15-11-2015 17:18

i had to laugh 1s i saw what went down. couldnt have happened to a nicer person...
rousey showed no class and to be honest looked a bit scared at the weigh in when she lost composure and put hands on the challenger.
so to me the fat lip was nothing more than she deserved.

when your the champ your a role model whether you like it or not. so she should have acted like 1.
but instead she chose to be the bully, as we know all bullys meet there match sooner or later, and she met hers last night...

BOOM Tongue

Rhonda is having a break, apparently.

She didn't just lose, she was made to look amateurish.

'Torn a new one'

RE: UFC - robert.f4 - 16-11-2015 21:52

I think Rhonda got clipped early in the first and didn't recover, she's a superb fighter and wouldn't have given her title up easy. I was amazed when Holm helped Rhonda to turn and actually positioned her before the knockout kick. Like Mike Tyson in boxing, Rhonda lost something after the first defeat - The unbeatable factor, and they don't get that back, It will take something special for Rhonda to get her confidence and winning steak back. I would also say that Rhonda made a real error of judgement in not showing her opponent respect, after all, Holm earned the right to be there and she showed respect for the undisputed champion that Rhonda was, before and after the fight.
