Having recently changed jobs and work locations I found out some horrific news affecting a former colleague that I knew quite well.
Her teenage daughter was killed last night in a car crash in which I have been told two other unrelated children died along with the driver.
News reports indicate there was actually one other child who died rather than two with 2 children in serious condition in hospital.
My heart breaks for my former colleague and all the families who have lost loved ones.

To lose anyone close is unbearably tough but when it's one of ones own children the horror of it must be unspeakable.
It has left me pretty shaken up to he honest.

Family lives torn apart in an awful, tragic accident. May those departed ones rest in peace Sad Sad Sad.
Condolences to all concerned snookered

...when you're feeling unwell and having trouble sleeping, and your brain decides to keep playing Chris de Burgh's Don't Pay the Ferryman...

Shall I go for a birthday pint ?
Pubs closed.
A meal ?
Restaurants closed.
But all my co-workers with kids can still go off on their school holidays as normal and leave me with a pile of extra work.
Cheers.

Try thinking about his Miss World winning Daughter instead.

I'm better now anyway. But it's a kind thought.

Tomorrow I'll be getting up in the middle of the night (which is fine) in order to make it onto the 1st Tee in practical darkness, to play a last game of golf until god knows whenRolleyes. In the meantime I can walk with another person for as long as I want, but just not while playing golfHuh. The game of golf should be encouraged, It's good exercise in the fresh air, relaxing & great for your mental-healthImportant! So I'm mildly pissed-off, but not really surprised by this decision. A walk & a game of golf, must surly carry the same risks of catching the virus, but I can do one, but not the other, go figure.Huh

I have a spare one.
I have not used it in ages, will need to check it still works.
It was given to me in great condition. If it still works perfectly as it did before you can have it if you want.
