I was actually gutted that Conner won. I just don't like the guy's attitude... and then he goes and gets all respectful towards Aldo in his post-fight speech, which shows he's probably an OK guy afterall.
Hoping he defends against Edgar, in front of his home crowd in Dublin, & then challenges the lightweight champion, if successful in that fight.
I was rooting for Weidman, but all props to Rockhold. It was a good fight.
The middleweight division is so much more interesting without Silva as the champion.
Damn, Damien Mai (or is it mia?) was absolutely shit-hot on the ground!
Looooong night for Mr Nelson. But he can only get better from this experience.
I'm the unluckiest MMA fan in the world, as all my favorite fighters seem to be losing.
So apologies in advance for jinxing Condit's welterweight title shot
He's truly my favorite fighter of all time, so I may as well bet my life savings on Lawler, lol

Big respect to Aldo though, my heart went out to him because he was unlucky with how it happened. Taking nothing away from Connor of course - he delivered his promise.
The Weidman fight was obviously better, and he lasted slightly longer than I expected.

Yeah it didn't really settle anything.
Connor got the punch in and that was it.
If Aldo had landed it could have gone the other way.
Hope they fight again and it goes longer.

Really pisses me off when dumb-arsed judges decisions end up ruining what was a fantastic fight.
Hats off to both fighters for a spirited performance , but Lawler didn't win.
