All I am gonna say is for Ep 5 is watch out for the names of two starfleet ships, one of them is very familiar and other a name of a character which when you see that one is very fitting.

Ep 5 “Die Trying” Season 3

The crew of Discovery finally met the federation but it’s not the federation they once knew abs of course there’s tryout issues. There are some questions answered but that’s opened up even more questions.

Look out for the a very familiar starfleet ship name and also the particular Star Trek theme.
The second starfleet ship and its named after a star trek character and its very fitting when you realise the name.

A certain storyline/referenced is mentioned from Star Trek Enterprise season 1 and a Ep from Star Trek Voyager titled “Relativity” from season 5.

S3 ep 5 “Die Trying”

The USS Discovery reunite with Star Fleet & go on their first mission to prove to The Federation they can be trusted & to stop the crew from being split up.

Myself spotted Easter eggs for Star Trek: Voyager & Star Trek: First Contact

lol so what did Cronenberg do to Philippa? Fair bet he's Section 31 but could they and Federation/Star Fleet be one and the same now?

It was odd, it was almost as if she was in a trance or malfunctioning in some way. Has to be something like that...or...Control.

It was another great episode, I enjoyed seeing Star Fleet's new base of operations, some interesting things there.

Let’s just say your gonna be on for treat regarding the ship in tomorrow’s Ep.

Have a theory that there’s a link with that music and the burn.

Ep 6 “Scavengers” Season 3

I’ll start off with the bad first and it’s with Burnham character after the previous Ep it felt a step back with her and sometimes it feels like they don’t know what to do with her. Am hoping there’s pay off with her character.
I also wish they would do more with fleshing out the back ground characters which don’t know a lot about with other Star Trek shows the other characters had there moments to shine and characters developed.
Evaded I did like is what they did with the Discovery and other upgrades the crew were given and the Next Gen Easter egg, for me so far the weakest Ep of the season.

All I can say is Ep 7 titled “Unification III” which is linked Unification Part 1 & 2 from Star Trek The Next Generation Season 5.
