Danica wasn't discovered living on a desert island unaware of the world... I don't think she's savvy enough to manuipulate the media, but she certainly knows what she's doing (albeit in a very shallow way).

What values are you talking about?
If you are talking about the values that came out on the rinsing show then thats fine. But you are saying that it must be true as it was on TV and Danica said it. Using that same argument, if you listened to her speaking on CBB last night, a totally different set of values came out, but since she said it on tv, they must be true. Which set is correct? Probably neither because in both cases she is being paid to be there. Which is why you need to know something about her before you can judge her real values, and not rely on someone elses opinion, artistic or editorial representation of her, to make that judgement.
If you are talking about her values regarding taking presents from guys, without giving anything tangible in return (presumably most of these guys are looking for some sort of sexual favour), then you must also find a number of other models and presenters have repulsive values as well, as they too have wish lists and receive presents for no tangible return. It's just that they have not all been exposed on a "documentary".
As for you comments about her looks and Clares challenge, I totally agree with you. And as someone else said, that is the dilemma.

Why would Charlie C follow the Elite party line when she doesn't work for them (same for Annie Bullah)?

Listen if you make it your business to be in the business of rinsing, your values are pretty fucking shit anyway. She was unequivocal about that on the show. They are the only values I am referring to.
Its too early on CBB to get a feel for her as a person as the guard will have to come down at some point and we may get a different perspective. I may well be open to a change of mind then but not now.

She was unequivocal about her values on her interview last night, most of which directly conflict with those stated on the rinsing show. But as you infer, she said it, so it must be true, so she is a nice girl after all.
Anyway, I'm sad that you can let a program maker on C4 determine who you think has poor values. But I'm even sadder to think that you are happy to let another program maker on C5 alter your views.
Maybe you should be open minded about the whole thing, not trust the media view that has been put out by C4, and see what she is like when she lets her guard down.
And if it turns out she has a poor character and poor set of values, then I'm with you. But I'm going to make my own mind up and not let the media dictate it to me.
