what is the point of having a seperate passport to show you have had vaccine when you could just as easily stamp that person's passport to certify they are vaccinated?

^because it's not the 1950's. Wink

also when they call it a 'passport', it doesn't mean like the one you travel with. it would likely be like your chipped debit or id card, with your protected details on.

are they available yet or is it still under review?

Vaccine passports are a non starter well for stuff like pubs, concerts and the like means anyone under 40 could not go out for least till end of summer like thats going to work !!

now i think about it, i suppose it could be like a passport. chipped but with a photo on it with certain details visible. either way, a stamp won't cut it.

I agree it's not the 1950's but it would be the most simple way around it for travel use I would have thought. Imagine taking your passport to airport and they ask to see your vaccine clesarance and you don't have it with you..

but in all honesty I think it wouldn't work for pubs or concerts and stuff, can't see pubs being keen on it they were doing track and trace before but I don't see why it can be adapted to show you had vaccine.

I see that former India cricketer SachinTendulkar has been admitted into hospital, supposedly as a precautionary measure after he tested positive for Covid19
