I do hope max can pull it off but feel Khabib will win a dominant decision fight. Also hope Joanna wins to set up a trilogy fight down the line!!

Or it could simply be conor did that, to get pulled from any upcoming ppvs and more importantly avoid facing Khabib

unlikely... he was angry that he is gonna be stripped of his belt rather than khabib or holloway winning the interim belt.
if your the interim champ you still gotta beat the champ to get his belt. if you beat the interim champ your the interim champ.
but no as soon as the fight starts the ufc is gonna strip connor, so im not surprised he's pissed.
the only reason connor isnt fighting is because the ufc dont want to pay him. its not because he doesnt want to fight. he knows what he is worth and now he's worth even more after last night.

True but he also said he wants to come back in September. Plus when he was featherweight champ, he did the same thing of being inactive. I think he just wants the "wow" moment of being a champ but has no desire to defend.
