Boris has made a statement where he says that the reduction in cases, hospitalisation and deaths is not down to the vaccine rollout.
He's saying that the lockdown was the main reason.

Also an ashma drug used in an inhaler has been found to be helpful in the recovery from the virus. It's use is planned for those who haven't needed to be hospitalised.

The Johnson and Johnson vaccine has been paused in the USA due to 6 cases of blood clots in women. One of the women has died.

6 cases in 7 million jabs.

WE have ordered 30 million jabs but they aren't due for months.

It uses the same methodology as the AZ vaccine so not surprising it looks to have the same very rare blood clot side effect

The 45s and over in England can now book their jabs online using the following link:

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination/.

I booked mine earlier today.

45s and overs will start to receive invitation letters for vaccinations later this week in Scotland.

This is the weirdest story that I've found relating to the virus.

In the USA scientists working for the Pentagon have invented a microchip which is inserted under the skin and will detect if the patient develops Covid-19.

They have also been developing a filter that can remove the virus from the patient’s blood through a dialysis machine.
