I'd love to see some of the old monsters come back and be brought up to date. They did it with the Cybermen and the Daleks and the Sontarans, why not bring back the Sea Devils and the Ice Warriors and give them a new look? I know the Ogrons were slaves to the Daleks or something why not give them a storyline of their own too?

They brought the Autons back aswell with Christopher Eccleston's Ninth Doctor. The Sea Devils are a fine shout - some of Jon Pertwee's Third Doctor episodes featured those.

What does everyone think of Paul McGann's Eighth Doctor? He only did the one screen appearance with the 1996 movie, but he has loads of audio dramas. They're well worth a listen. Plus he probably had more appearances in other media than any other doctor with all the books, comic strips and online animated shows.

i thought he could have been good but the plot, writing and direction of it was crap. that film was meant to be a reboot to introduce it to americans.

The movie was crap yes and it was made to be introduced to the US, but the audio dramas are good. People shouldn't rate Paul McGann on just that one bad movie - he never got a chance for any further on-screen appearances. I know audio isn't the same as seeing but they are worth a listen. Some good stories.

One thing that I noticed in that episode featuring David Tennant and Georgia Moffett was that the onscreen chemistry was electrifying, lucky bastard getting to bang away at her Tongue Anyway can't wait for season 7 to arrive, just hope that Karen Gillan doesn't leave bladewave
