RE: Top Gear - *Kal-El* - 18-01-2015 22:01 The new series of Top Gear starts next Sunday at 8pm on BBC 2. RE: Top Gear - *Kal-El* - 19-01-2015 01:04 RE: Top Gear - Rammyrascal - 25-01-2015 09:36 top gear is back this evening at 8pm on bbc2. will be out so am recording it RE: Top Gear - BaddaBing - 25-01-2015 18:01 I'd completely forgot it was back tonight so was nicely surprised when I was going through the TV guide and saw it listed RE: Top Gear - Krill Liberator - 26-01-2015 00:16 I'd been looking forward to a heaped serving of three old blokes cocking about, so I'm happy to say I wasn't disappointed. Although they were clearly wrong about the new Lambo... RE: Top Gear - Doddle - 26-01-2015 07:19 I thought St Petersburg looked very pretty, and the Twizy was interesting, and that's pretty much it. RE: Top Gear - SCIROCCO - 26-01-2015 07:22 5/10. The Twizzy is a piece of shyte so baffled as to why they are promoting it. Also their Ferrari bias showed again when they downgraded the gorgeous looking and stupendously fast new Lambo. RE: Top Gear - bytor - 26-01-2015 11:58 Good to see it back. At last something enjoyable to watch as despite having a million channels to choose from its a norm that except for TG there is usually just mind numbing reality chav tv on offer. They do need to dump the Stig from their specials now though. RE: Top Gear - circles_o_o_o - 26-01-2015 12:53 One thing I noticed, that didn't really add up, was that when Hammond was on his 'borrowed' mountain bike, you could see that it was rigged up with the same camera equipment as the original bicycle. That must have taken some time to rig up, so perhaps some of those scenes were filmed at a later date and edited in. It was more entertaining than the xmas double-bill, and excellent news that they've made 10 episodes this time, as usually it's over by the time you get used to it being on again. RE: Top Gear - Tumble_Drier - 26-01-2015 18:56 ^ Not necessarily. The camera mounts are only a couple of Allen Bolts & a clamp at most and take very little time to fit. He said at the end he'd lost 20 minutes swapping bikes. As for the crash itself, i'm amazed an experienced Cyclist (which he is) went anywhere near Tram Lines! You wouldn't catch me trying to ride next to them. I bet Pinarello weren't happy to get £9K worth of Dogma F8 back with a busted rear hanger and they'll have been even less impressed when he swapped to a Merida MTB |
