Only a matter of time before they call off the 1st ODI at Leeds today. Sad

This wont help wipe off Yorkshire's £20 million debt, very sad.

Shame if it does. £20 million? I thought it was only the non test ground counties (apart from Waricks) that were in trouble.

I just can't see how England can beat Australia with the team they put out.Loading the side with 8 specialist batsmen with very little bowling options.I think Morgan did the best he could in the field & did well to keep them under 350.
Resting players is all well & good but should we be giving away a victory to an Australian side that hasn't won a a competitive game in months. It's a different format with many different players on both sides but Australia will gain more confidence leading into the Ashes Down under.

I don't see any reason to select Finn, who tends to be expensive. How is he a one day bowler?

^ Finn is currently England's highest ranked ODI bowler,4th best in the world one place above Anderson.
