1966 During the Gemini programme, Buzz Aldrin takes the first "space selfie" during a spacewalk outside the capsule.

Sadly, M-L-L couldn't be bothered to take any pictures on this day, just one of the many reasons that he was unsuitable to join the NASA astronaut programme.
