I read something last week saying that we will never get below 1,000 new cases per day because with the volume of Lateral Flow Tests being done the expected level of false positives will push us above 1,000 new cases each day. A good problem to have I suppose.

think its the case of hospitalisations and deaths that will be the main factors in any decisions

we can live with thousands of cases a day if they are not hospitalised or deaths i mean how many cases of the common cold or other virus's must we get a in a normal day in the UK

People in Bolton being asked for samples as the South African varient is apparently about think stuff like this will always happen just to make sure its kept in control

I didn't get my wish for zero fatalities.
2 people unfortunately died. Hospitalisations and case were down.

I fear we are some way off zero deaths for a sustained period. Still too many requiring full vaccination for that to happen. Indeed, I don't think everyone has completed one dose yet? Could be wrong there though!!

We prob wont finish vaccination ever will always be holdouts and talk of a 3rd Jab for the Vunrable and others this autumn to boost immuniity

Yep. Can’t see there being zero deaths for a while yet, if at all
