A season without European football is going to be hard to take I guess. I think if Moyes stays in the job at the end of the season he's going to have to be pretty shrewd in the transfer market this summer and needs to offload a few players to invest IMO. He's had a hard baptism of fire this season, but I'm wondering if we have actually seen the very best of Rooney in not only a Man U shirt but also for England.

Rooney was the first person in the premiership to have double figures for both Goals scored and number of assists in a season. That was this season so I think that shows his value to the team. All I ask for are a few more players with the same or better level of skill.

Probably already been said, but have you seen how many goals Macheda has got for Birmingham since Man U let him go in January Sad

Comes to something when Everton have progressed in his absence, and he's doing worse.

I hope you didn't think I was having a go

lol no not at all. Any sensible comments are to be encouraged. United are defintely in need of fresh blood and have to perform to their highest standards consistently if they are to challenge next season.

A lot depends if the board is prepared to come up with the money for Moyes to get the fresh blood he needs. Which players do you think will leave united and which players should he go for?

Well Vidic has to be replaced and I'd sell Smalling, Ferdinand, Young, Nani and Buttner. I'd like us to give Kagawa a real chance and play him as an out and out AM. I think we definitely need two quality CD's, a LB/WB, most definitely a passing, tackling CM or two and possibly a quality striker to replace Welbeck who has potential but lacks judgement in front of goal.
Who would I like.... Dreaming on here as my concern over the last few seasons is that no matter who is manager I doubt the board will back him up with the amount of money needed.
In defence I'd like to see us trying for the likes of Adil Rami, Boateng, Astori or Shaw. In midfield I'd really like to see Vidal, Herrera or maybe someone like Sandro with perhaps Gotze upfront who could interchange on the pitch with Rooney or maybe Llorente who would do well in the EPL. RvP has another season in him but his fitness is always a concern. As I said, dream on lol.

Ferdinand is out of contract anyway.

Nani is an interesting case - he only signed a 5 year deal last September.

Ferdinand is but he said he is hoping to continue playing, preferably with us. Nani has a boatload of talent but lacks consistency. As for the rest, it's just my own hopes, thoughts and opinions.
