That Extras, I have always said he is a quality player laugh.

Didn't he used to play for England - no loyalty these players any more!

Wouldn't it be more interesting though if the convicts were a bit more competitive. Wonder if England could win a test inside 2 days!

Definitely not. Over the years been on the wrong end of a hiding to many times at the hands of our antipodean cousins to ever feel sorry for them.
Just enjoy the brutal thrashing we are giving them because you know it will be a case of when not if they will return the favour in the future. If that involves twiddling our thumbs over the weekend afternoons so be it.

Australia's 18.3 overs innings this morning was the shortest-ever first innings in a test match.

I agree.
If it were me I would want to rack up 500-600 making sure the Aussie bowlers are tired, weary and fed up.
Then go and bowl Australia out again cheaply.
England need to inflict as much psychological damage as possible and show absolutely no mercy whatsoever.
This way we can go the Oval and have Australia really down and flat and go for a 4-1 series win.
Any talk of sympathy for any opposition I will never support.
Especially an opposition that has inflicted two 5-0 drubbings out to England in recent times.
My attitude has always been to win and win by the biggest possible margin to humiliate the opposition.
Some might say that's nasty.
I say it's doing your job and dismantling the confidence of the opposition to make them feel that they can't beat you and in the process making life much easier for you and harder for them going forward.
The issue for me is that such ruthlessness is just not typically in the British psyche. We too easily start feeling sorry for these sportspeople when in my view we should not.
They get paid enough and they have the privilege of representing their country so quit bitching and get on with it.
So no messing around tomorrow please England.
Get a big lead and roll em over a second time.

Headline in the Australian papers 'Pommicide'

All out in 18.3 over, which is 111 balls and that's also the number of balls that it for England to take the lead.
Broad had now has record for the quickest 5 wicket haul and his 8-15 is the best England seaming performanace.
