Actually, its obvious that all the leaks and briefings against him speak of a concerted campaign to destabilise and ultimately be rid of him. I think the mutterings of disquiet may have grown and grown long before now. For those working in close proximity to his haphazard prime ministership, there has very likely been a steady rising tide of incredulity at his mismanagement (revealed openly by Cummings of course), which he's hitherto managed to deflect away thanks to his inordinate powers of charm and charisma, as part of his happy-go-lucky performance-art con trick "be all things to all people" persona which only partly obscures his irresponsible and cavalier nature but which is a mascarade for the quite manipulative, devious and calculating bastard that he ultimately is deep down. RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - Charlemagne - 11-12-2021 09:39 You'd have thought that things couldn't get worse for Boris... well they are. Dominic Cummings states that there are photos taken at the No10 Christmas It's enough to tip Boris over the edge. RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - SecretAgent - 17-12-2021 16:43 You couldn’t make this up …….. A BBC journalist is reporting on Twitter that on 17th December 2020 invitations went out for a Xmas Party from the office of Simon Case the guy who is running the investigation into the Downing Street Parties RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - Cooper_temple - 17-12-2021 16:50 (17-12-2021 16:43 )SecretAgent Wrote: You couldn’t make this up …….. RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - Cooper_temple - 17-12-2021 17:10 At least 13 parties took place in Downing Street and Government last year while the U.K. was in lockdown RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - SecretAgent - 17-12-2021 23:12 Simon Case is no longer running the Party investigation RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - The Silent Majority - 18-12-2021 01:16 Anyone catch the live Dead Ringers show on R4 earlier. Some of the material must've just been written just hours before "People of Britain, this is your Prime Minister speaking, unless you're listening to the repeat." https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0012fx8 RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - Charlemagne - 18-12-2021 11:05 Another cabinet secretary is taking over the investigation into the No10 parties. Boris and the Chairman of the Tories have said that they understand the publics anger towards them. Will the report come out admit that they were wrong in holding parties. But this will leave them open to be prosecution by the police. Or is it yet going to be another cover up. |
