^I share your sentiments Skully. I can't think of any far more worse for the region than Iran flexing it's muscle in the region, and if Israel did confirm it DID hit the consulate I wonder then how the US would respond. Would they ultimately withdraw their support of Israel's position in the region?

It's very unlikely, Biden keeps saying they have the right to defend themselves, which is right, but that's not all that's happening now, is it. The US is also sending a fuck ton of weapons still, weapons that are only being used to ''defend'' themselves and not at all being used to kill 33,000 innocent civilians, nope, America's weapons are for defence only, honest.
Israel have now killed seven aid workers from World Central Kitchen, who are now suspending operations. Targeting aid is something, what a mess.

And now Ballistic Missiles. Following the Russian playbook to the letter. They'll be timed to try and saturate the Israeli Air Defence (Iron Dome etc) and ensure that some get through.

It seems the ballistic missile reports may be incorrect and they're actually Cruise Missiles.

Iran releases statement saying that attack is in response to Israel's strike on its embassy in Damascus, which Israel claims was an IRGC base, and that it deems the matter concluded. However should Israel make another mistake its response will be more severe.
Netanyahu's spokesperson says Israel respose to tonights attack will be firm and clear.

Iran do not want a war, they have been very restrained over the last 6 months, they waited nearly two weeks to respond giving Israel & The US time to prepare & much of what they used whilst an upgrade on Hamas rockets were relatively slow moving drones.
Biden has told Netanyahu that Israel should consider the successful defence the win & not retaliate & that the US will not take part in any attack on Iranian targets.
