Buccs 23 - 31 Lions - Final
Goff finds his A-game when it mattered most, Gibbs came to the party with some big plays on the ground & a key reception as the Lions scored Td's on 2 consecutive possessions. Mayfield responded with a quickfire TD drive, but failed to convert the 2 point conversion. The Buccs get the ball back with a chance to drive 90 yards with 1.59 remaining & tie the game. Mayfield throw his 2nd pick & they come up short.

I hate to see Baker come up short at the end of the game
I got a lot of respect for him

The Lions going to the NFC Championship game for the first time since the 1991-1992 season!

Lions vs 49ers is an interesting matchup

49ers should be big favorites, but the Lions do have a lot of fight in them

Any team can beat each other with what's remaining. The Niners aren't playing at their best & the Lions have momentum. A brave effort from the Buccs after winning in a poor NFC South, Mayfield has found his mojo again which is great to see, plenty to build on next season.
So many great stories & games this season, don't let it stop. Very hard to completely enjoy it when your team is involved, i almost wish I was a neutral.
Hope the Bills v Chief don't disappoint.

Chiefs 27 - 24 Bills
This one game down to the wire, you always have to feel for a kicker, as the Bills had a chance to tie the game inside the final 2 minutes, who knows what would've happened had it been successful, maybe a game winning drive for KC or O/T.
What I marvelled at was the skill of these 2 great QB's to move the ball against really good defenses, the fact that there was only 3 punts all game was testament to that. It often came down to un-scripted plays, but they both somehow got the job done.
That's not to say that either defense played badly, but KC did step up in the 4th qtr in that regard. The Chiefs did have a chance to kill the game off after a failed fake punt by the Bills gave KC great field position, but the ball was fumbled on the goal line & into the Endzone for a touchback.
A great campaign for the Bills after a horrendous start, it feels like they have been in Playoff mode for weeks.
Now the Chiefs must do it all again on the road at Baltimore.

I've just watched the 49er's v Packers match on catch up. It wasn't pretty.

When the San Fran defensive end intercepted the ball with 45 secs on the clock and then jumped up to start running and then lateraled to Fred Warner I was standing on my feet telling him to get down. Only there were a few expletives mixed ineek

The Championship games this Sunday has again resulted in the PGA moving the Farmers Insurance Open to Wed - Sat, as the golf can't compete with the NFL viewing figures.
