Intrigued? Sense of missing out? That's the point.
If a session feels like they don't care about making money from TV anymore then maybe that aren't too bothered? Maybe that babe has proved more worthy at being a different kind of draw? Almost as if the general purpose of the TV being there has shifted perhaps? That you're not supposed to want to watch and call there anymore (at least not when certain babes are on) but are supposed to go somewhere else and get into the habit there? We used to call TV the babeland shop window. Back then it wasn't entirely accurate. Now the description's much more on point.
Pointless wishing things were different on the 900s. If there's any chance at all of getting shows anything like the old days it's going to be online where you'll find them now. Been that way since Atlanta stopped doing much TV a couple of years back.

As I said on the review thread, I'm pretty sure it was Alice's doing. I don't really see the other girls going down that route.

On similar lines Sarah Daniel dose things the other way which is still just as annoying,
When she's on TV she always has the webstream blurred, been told it's because she doesn't want people capping her with boobs out, must cost bs money as anyone viewing on the web never sees her,
The producers need to tell girls like Sarah and Alice they need to be on all platforms to maximize revenue, don't let the girls run the channel into the ground like happened on 66,

^^And yet wouldn't you agree less and less shows on TV are truly old style ones these days? Isn't a blur effect just an advanced version of that same drop off we've been seeing for a good time now? It's all part of the same slope in one direction is it not? Do less, hold back content, create an idea that the action is to be found elsewhere; save it for web, save for paywall, save for privates, save for exclusive, save for cam2cam... Curtains, blur, paywall overlays, it's all aimed at creating FOMO in an audience of addicts who can't do without a fix (one that fta used to provide - but presumably now is not doing so profitably enough). With the solution offered at a higher price as possible away from TV's loud hailer announcing the prescription.
Why would the effects of this trend be limited in anyway on TV? If calls/listeners/tips ain't providing the top dollar profitability that other things can, then why would it be just one or two babes opting for such tactics on TV?
(Like everything, when we see something we ask why is this happening? But the second question should always be 'What's to stop more from occuring if the conditions that brought it about continue?')
Another factor: As babe's get a bigger name for themselves they clearly have more 'say' in how they do things. And more knowledge of what works for them individually. (Neither of which denies general trends in what we see.)

You could have stopped there to be honest.

I find it very hard to believe the standard tv shifts aren't the most lucrative for the girls, otherwise why would they bother doing them?
Why would Ashlyn, for instance, travel all the way to MK for a tv shift if she could earn at least as much doing a web shift from the studio nearer home?

I'm saying there are TIMES when the old stuff is judged to be not enough on it's own. (Note I quite deliberately used the word "session" rather than shift or anything else in my initial response.) They've come to see that not every part of TV should be aim for the same type monies. (With some babes especially.) And that this is another combo tactic they've learned to employ. (I agree some babes may be able to call the shots. I dunno who "they" are in each particular case.)
I'm saying such segments are increasing in number as "they" see guys are desperate enough to fall for the trick. TV teases guys to the web in several ways already of course. The tactics are just becoming blunter and more prevalent is all.
I don't see what I'm saying's all that new here. I can only think I worded something poorly if any of this is particularly contentious. (Sometimes, when in haste, I write in too scattergun a fashion. Speaking to specifics at one moment, broadly the next...) I just thought some things were worth reiterating, in order to point out how much the show's employ FOMO these days. It's a modern curse to the shows IMO.
I might add one last thing - as I'm laying out how I see all this completely now. It seems to me that BS are at least sensible enough (for the moment) to see that maintaining multiple TV channels ensures the continued high profile visibility of its top name babes as well as bestowing a crucial cache for both the brand and its babes. They haven't yet fallen to the same rush to a rose-tinted web-only future that caught out 66. I'm sure we all hope they never do.

^ I actually thought I was agreeing with the paragraph I quoted
Anyway, I don't see this being a trend on tv. I think it was just Alice trying to have her cake and eat it. I'd be surprised if she made enough extra from the webstream to cover the undoubted loss in call revenue. I wouldn't rule out a repeat though, out of sheer pigheadedness.
