RE: The "Pissed Off " Thread - Snooks - 21-09-2022 18:50 Not so much pissed off as sad to see a much liked and respected colleague of mine leave her role at work for pastures new today. She has been so kind to me through all my mental health struggles as my line manager. I could have asked for no better human to ever know as my poem dedicated to her made clear. She said it made her cry which wasn't really the intention but hey ho. Damn I'm gonna miss her ---------------------------------------------------- Every now and then fate deals the kindest cards Blessed to encounter those who go those extra yards To actively listen is to show compassion in the first degree The value felt often beyond what anyone can see The toughest of times are a learning curve Critical moments to test ones nerve It is impossible to face those demons alone Uncertain of what comes next following a path unknown Family and friends help of course Easing temptation to feel guilt based remorse Wonders of modern medicine play their part In the pursuit of rebalance and a new start But sometimes it takes the actions of just one sweet soul To help repair the most from in pieces to whole You see just by listening with patience to show you care Commands value akin to that of answering a prayer That one sweet soul is now reading this After helping steer me from the abyss So as I bid you farewell and au revoir I thank you for being just who you are May I bid you every joy and happiness for all time The pleasure to know you has been all mine. Goodbye. RE: The "Pissed Off " Thread - Snooks - 16-10-2022 07:51 You know that feeling where you are absolutely gagging to call people out on behaving like a bunch of sanctimonious, pompous, up their own arse twats but end up resisting on the basis of trying to prevent outright war. Yeah I'm finding myself in that place a lot just recently . RE: The "Pissed Off " Thread - Sm© - 16-10-2022 08:20 ^^ I get that feeling everytime I browse twitter, and on some occasions, babeshow forums RE: The "Pissed Off " Thread - Snooks - 16-10-2022 09:43 ^ You know that extra feeling when a much respected fellow forum poster reads your mind RE: The "Pissed Off " Thread - The Silent Majority - 27-10-2022 13:06 Mr Kipling has reduced the size of his individual fruit pies from 59g to 52g Bastards! I blame Truss RE: The "Pissed Off " Thread - Snooks - 30-10-2022 17:31 FFS. Lost my keys again, spent over an hour looking for em and eventually found them in the fridge of all places when I had given up to make myself a sandwich . RE: The "Pissed Off " Thread - Boomerangutangangbang - 30-10-2022 20:44 WTF snot literally pouring out of me RE: The "Pissed Off " Thread - The Silent Majority - 02-11-2022 14:08 (27-10-2022 13:06 )The Silent Majority Wrote: Mr Kipling has reduced the size of his individual fruit pies from 59g to 52g Seems I bought the '30% less sugar' ones by mistake As you were RE: The "Pissed Off " Thread - Doddle - 02-11-2022 14:29 7g from 59g is approx 12% anyway. RE: The "Pissed Off " Thread - Tractor boy - 03-11-2022 14:09 I bought a 10 pack of crisps for £1, thinking that's a bargain. Only 18g a bag , I need 2 bags to know I have had any, what a con. A bag of crisps should be at least 26g. |
