Goodbye Mr Scolari, how long before Wenger follows anyone?

RE: *Official Football Thread* - G@Z! - 09-02-2009 18:53

ok another record goes to man u longest run without conceding a goal i say congradulation alex ferguson and a real test coming up for england against spain let hope they take it seriously and not treat it like a pointless friendly

edit ok wenger is clueless and scolari is more clueless but wenger does have a lot of experience of the premier league and if arsenal don't want him any other club will

Anyhoo 2 managers gone in 1 day. oh dear! I think Scolari should have changed his tactics before christmas and taken mikel and kalou out of the team, and played a 4 4 2 with drogba and anelka up front, no harm in trying something different, which he did not. And ultimately it cost him el job.

Clive Tylesdale + David Pleat + England defeat = A bad night all round!

Given the draw they got how pissed are eufa going to be if all four english sides get through to the last eight - sepp blatter must be homicidal - and what price a fixed draw to make sure they all meet each other.

Sepp Blatter makes me laugh. He comes out with so many ridiculous ideas, but I can't remember him actually changing anything... the big clubs hold so much sway that they have the ultimate say.

Have you seen his latest one?

I get bored enough standing there in the freezing cold for 15! He's so out of touch with real football supporters, in fact football in general is in its own fantasy world.

When I first started going half-time was 10 - 12 minutes at most, i've seen a few recently where it has nearly been twenty 'unofficially' - one team can always drag a minute or two out. If it gets to twenty then it will get to twenty-two etc plus there will be more injuries due to muscles tightening up and so on. I don't know how Blatter is still in the job - he detests England and English teams, I for one would have far more respect for him if he came out and openly admitted that he will do anything to prevent us from winning stuff.
